Medfield Heights has been recognized as a Maryland Green School.  The Schoolyard Discovery program, in partnership with Irvine Nature Center, is responsible for many of the outdoor projects at Medfield.  In 2004 we planted our rain garden in the courtyard, and in 2005 we completed our native plant garden along with the raised beds and butterfly garden to complete our courtyard area.  This year we are working on an outdoor classroom in the front of our building surrounding the flagpole.  If you would like to be involved in the planning of this project or would like more information please come to our next meeting.
